We are excited to announce a lecture by a world-renowned Public Health expert, Dr. Robert Heimer from Yale University, on the topic of "Collaborations to promote an effective HIV epidemic response in the CIS region." Dr. Robert Heimer has spent three decades conducting groundbreaking research at the intersection of infectious diseases and substance use. His areas of expertise include HIV and hepatitis C epidemiology and prevention science, syringe exchange, and other harm reduction measures, overdose prevention and resuscitation, and treating people with opioid use disorder. His work carried out in domestic and international settings, aims to equip prevention and healthcare practitioners with the essential information required to enhance their educational, programmatic, and advocacy efforts.
