A Research Assistant position is available at Nazarbayev University School of Medicine to design and develop a novel drug delivery system for the treatment of wound healing and myocardial infarction, and to study the mechanisms by which incorporated growth factors and cytokines mediate their effects and ameliorate inflammation following myocardial infarction.
Basic knowledge of immunology and molecular biology is required, as well as previous experience with mouse models. In addition, experience with the following methods will be preferred: ELISA, cell culture, flow cytometry, general molecular biology and animal surgery.
- A B.S. in immunology, molecular biology, or a relevant biological science.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
