Advance Your Career in Healthcare: UMC, NU School of Medicine, and Kazakhstan Association of Healthcare Managers introduce a new Certification Course

The University Medical Center Corporate Fund in collaboration with the NU School of Medicine and the Kazakhstan Association of Healthcare Managers, is launching a new Healthcare Management Certification Course. The program is designed for leaders, doctors, and specialists who aspire to strengthen their management competencies and take their professional development to the next level.

The course combines online lectures with in-person seminars in a hybrid format and covers 6 comprehensive modules (12 credits, 360 academic hours). Training is conducted in Kazakh, Russian, and English. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate with an appendix (transcript) recognized in Kazakhstan.

The program was approved by the Educational-Methodological Association of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Healthcare discipline) (Minutes No. 4). It equips participants with the knowledge and tools to manage medical organizations effectively, including strategic and financial management, staff development, resource optimization, and quality assurance. The practice-oriented approach ensures that participants can immediately apply new skills in their work.

Professor Antonio Sarria-Santamera, Acting Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at NU School of Medicine, emphasized:
"This course was designed to meet the growing demand for highly qualified healthcare managers. By providing practical skills in strategy, leadership, and quality assurance, it will help transform the management of medical organizations in Kazakhstan."

The teaching team includes leading academics, experienced practitioners, and recognized experts in healthcare management and policy, ensuring a high standard of education.
