Goal 3: Good health and well-being
General Information
At Nazarbayev University School of Medicine (NU School of Medicine), we systematically advance health and well-being by pairing world-class education with applied research and real-world clinical partnerships. We lead initiatives that enhance the quality of medical training, support healthcare-system development, and promote equitable access to care for all segments of the population.

Working alongside the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University Medical Center Corporate Fund (UMC), the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, leading pharmaceutical partner Roche, and international institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Yale University, and our strategic partner, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, we deliver regional screening missions, joint training programmes, and breakthrough studies that raise the national standard of care.

Guided by Sustainable Development Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, our programmes widen access to quality healthcare, strengthen Kazakhstan’s health workforce, and share proven solutions with global partners.
