About Conference

This conference centres on the transformative potential of multidisciplinary health sciences education to strengthen regional health systems. By moving beyond a single-profession focus, the event will explore the integration of medical, nursing, and allied health professions within a unified educational framework. The conference specifically addresses the following critical areas:
  • Interprofessional Education (IPE): Promoting collaborative pedagogical models that prepare graduates for team-based clinical practice.
  • Global Workforce Mobility & Standards: Aligning Central Asian medical and health curricula with international accreditation and professional standards.
  • Digital Transformation: Integrating AI-enabled learning, simulation, and digital health competencies across all healthcare disciplines.
  • Evidence-Based Practice & Research: Building capacity for health education scholarship and the translation of research into clinical excellence.
  • Leadership and Policy: Training the next generation of healthcare leaders to manage evolving health systems and professional regulations.

Hosted by Nazarbayev University, the School of Medicine, and the Graduate School of Education, the conference is strategically designed to enhance educational excellence, strengthen faculty capacity, and support the development of future-ready health professionals. At the heart of the program, student experience will be enriched by opportunities to network with international and local experts, participate in research competitions (oral or abstract presentation), and engage in cutting-edge global discussions.
