On October 2, 2024, the NU School of Medicine welcomed participants of the Enactus World Cup 2024. Students from various countries visited the NU School of Medicine to explore its educational opportunities and learn about its contributions to medical research and healthcare in Kazakhstan.
For the first time in Kazakhstan, the Enactus World Cup 2024 is taking place - a premier event for thousands of students from around the world. The Enactus World Cup is a global competition that brings together students, entrepreneurs, academic leaders, and corporate executives from 33 countries. The event aims to promote student entrepreneurship, actively involve youth in socio-economic life, and open pathways for small and medium-sized businesses.
During the visit, students attended presentations delivered by NU School of Medicine faculty members on various topics, including “The training of future generations of healthcare leaders”, “Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being”, and |The role of Big Data and AI in Population Health Research”.
Students had an exclusive opportunity to visit the NU School of Medicine’s research facilities and state-of-the-art educational resources, including the 3D-digital anatomy laboratory, biomedical research laboratories, and the Simulation Center, where students, doctors, nurses, and other specialists teach and learn their clinical skills on mannequins, simulators, and high-tech equipment under the guidance of professors and trained instructors.
